ASEAN Day Student Forum

The Singapore Institute of International Affairs would like to invite you to the ASEAN Day Student Forum, to be held on the 7th of August 2008 at The Regent Hotel Singapore.

This event follows the success of the first ASEAN Think Tank Forum in 2007, which was held in conjunction with Singapore ’s celebration of ASEAN’s 40th Anniversary. This year, in conjunction with ASEAN Day, the SIIA will collaborate with NUS USP to share their experiences and discoveries on ASEAN with the public.

2008 has been an interesting year for ASEAN thus far, with a new Secretary-General, H.E. Surin Pitsuwan, the signing of the ASEAN Charter, and the adoption of the ASEAN Economic blueprint, amongst other notable changes. The ASEAN Day Students Forum aims to provide a platform for experts and student leaders to come together and share their opinions and views on ASEAN’s achievements and future challenges.

ZA Workshop

How much do you know about your skin condition? Do you simply splash your face with water every morning? Or do you know the importance of having proper skincare? And that good personal hygiene plays a major role in our everyday life? If you are starting to wonder about all these, not to worry! ZA Workshop is here to your rescue!

What is ZA Workshop all about?
An experienced makeup instructor from Za Make-Up will covered a wide range of topics, ranging from:
· Skin Preparation
· Personal Hygiene
· Moisturising
· Application of Basic Make-Up
· Understanding the damaging effects of excessive sun-exposure
· How the development of wrinkles and fine lines could be avoided
· The trainer will also share trade secrets with the girls, including the importance of moisturising the neck area and why concealer should be applied on both the upper and lower lids of eyes.

In addition, there will be a live demonstration done by the trainer on one lucky person who will be chosen to be the “model”. The trainer will demonstrate the techniques of putting on proper make-up, from the foundation to concealer, mascara, eye-shadow and blushers.

At the close of the workshop, you will be given a selection of product samples as door gifts, other attractive freebies and refreshments! (WORTH MORE THAN $20!!)
After this workshop, you will know how to better present and look your best during job interviews, as well as other important events!
